The Bighorn River Resort is an owner operated Orvis Lodge on the Famed Bighorn River. We have a beautiful backyard view of the Bighorn River and surrounding countryside. Guests love to take pictures from the deck during dinner. We are within 109 private acres with private access to the Bighorn River. We are within driving distance of Yellowstone National Park, the Bighorn Mountains, Red Lodge and Glacier Park. 

We have a boutique property hosting up to 14 for fishing and hunting. We have plate service breakfast, riverside picnic lunches and four course plate service dinner. Our focus in on fly-fishing and upland bird hunting with some waterfowl in the fall. 

We offer a unique opportunity to serve guests beautiful food in a relaxed environment. The cabin accommodations are country cozy. The kitchen is a place to shine for the culinary-inspired. Our Chef Frank works hard to bring the current trends into our dining room to create an exciting end to the perfect day. This beautiful food requires a great dining room and kitchen team. 

We have a casual fun atmosphere while providing great customer service and fine dining to our guests. The team at Forrester's is small and work together to take care of 4-14 guests at any given time. Taking good care of our guests with attention to detail is what we love, and love working with a team that feels the same way!

This is a great spot for anyone that loves to flyfish, float or getaway to nearby areas such as Yellowstone Park, Redlodge, and many other famous Montana fisheries. We are also near the Yellowtail Dam, a national park. Should you have your own boat, this is a perfect getaway on days off.

We are looking for team members that love customer service and love working in a casual yet professional environment.

There are many day hikes, other mountain hikes close by, floating the Bighorn as well as other rivers in Montana. Perfect for the outdoor enthusiast. Boating at Yellowtail Dam. Should you have a boat this would be a big plus. Biking also great in and around this area. Billings MT, Red Lodge, Cody, Bozeman all close. Drift boats, recreational boats such as rafts, canoes, speed boats, bikes all a fun plus.
