Looking to hire a dedicated and skilled private chef to prepare meals for household according to client preferences and dietary needs. Proven culinary experience with sound knowledge of different cuisines as well as food health and safety regulations. A strong understanding of nutrition and the ability to be adaptable as well as handling constructive feedback.Excellent organizational and time management skills. Effective communication skills.Exceptional serving skills. Detail-oriented.Required Services: Meal planning, including menu creation and adapting to dietary preferences around the calendar schedule. Grocery shopping and ingredient management. Food preparation and cooking for family meals and dinner parties. Cleaning up the kitchen and dining area after meal preparation. Adhering to any specific dietary restrictions or preferences of the family. Requesting dietary restrictions or allergies for guests. Preparing special meals for holidays and family celebrations. Providing regular updates and communication regarding the menu and any changes schedule.Coordination with the Executive Assistant for event planning and execution. Important awareness:Procuring organic, specialty or seasonal ingredients from local markets or suppliers. Two weeks paid vacation per year, outside of the Palm Beach season, December through April. Work schedule, five (5) days a week. Work hours will vary but are mostly for lunch and dinner service. Keeping the inside / outside pantries and refrigerators stocked and organized. Notifying the Executive Assistant of items that need to be reordered. Regular cleaning of refrigerators in the house and garage, plus wine refrigerators. Maintain and organize the cleaning of silver items, fine china dinnerware, dishes, glasses, stemware, linens, cooking utensils, pots &pans, etcetera. Dinner party services for the family and their guests. Working with Executive Assistant to coordinate all elements for larger dinner parties or venues held at the home. Maintaining cleanliness and organization in kitchen area and outdoor grill area, including equipment upkeep and inventory management. Provide notifications of any appliance, equipment issues or any general home maintenance awareness. Additional roles may include general errands.
