Experience Baker on Galiano Island at Bodega Ridge

Bodega Ridge Resort and Pink Geranium Cafe is a scenic resort and cafe known for its warm hospitality, beautiful surroundings, and high-quality culinary offerings. We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Baker to join our culinary team for our cafe and catered events.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of professional baking experience

Ability to lift 2025 kg multiple times during a shift

Strong understanding of professional kitchen and bakery operations

Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently

Positive, reliable, and hardworking attitude

Proficient in reading and following recipes accurately

Responsibilities:

Bake a variety of breads and other bakery items

Scale, mix, divide, and shape doughs according to recipes and production schedules

Develop, test, and implement new baked goods and recipes

Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and quality

Manage daily production schedules to meet cafe and event needs

Maintain inventory of baking ingredients and supplies

Uphold high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness
