Pastry Chef Elisabeth Prueitt and renowned baker Chad Robertson co-own Tartine Bakery and Bar Tartine in San Francisco. They trained at the Culinary Institute of America in New York before opening Bay Village Bakery in Point Reyes Station, California. Their bread and pastries have received numerous accolades, including being rated the Best Bakery and Best Breakfast in San Francisco. They have also been awarded the James Beard Award for Outstanding Pastry Chefs. Their books "Tartine" and "Tartine Bread" have been highly acclaimed and recognized for their excellence.
