Doordash Local Chefs Delivery is a new program that highlights local professional chefs. We believe consumers are interested in healthier, homestyle meals that they can’t get at restaurants or on delivery platforms today. This model is a little different from our typical offering. It’s essentially a pre-prepped meal service where chefs will prepare meals in advance and package them. Weekly you would drop-off your pre-prepared meal boxes in bulk at three or four agreed upon times per week. We’ll store them in our refrigerated warehouse facilities and when a customer places an order, we’ll deliver your chilled meals onto the customer immediately.
