Norwood Hills Country Club brings a rich tradition and history dating back to the 1920s. Our mission is to anticipate and exceed our members' expectations, while offering activities for the whole family. Norwood Hills features two 18-hole championship golf courses, seven tennis courts, a full-service swimming pool and an all-inclusive clubhouse, all as part of a comfortable, yet contemporary experience for our membership.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and consistency in food preparation and presentation.
  • Lead, train, and develop a team in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Manage food costs, maintain inventory control, and implement strategies to optimize profitability without compromising quality.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Foster a positive and professional work environment that promotes teamwork and accountability.
  • Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and member satisfaction.
  • Monitor kitchen financial performance, analyzing costs and implementing efficiencies as needed.

 

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine, Head Chef, or similar leadership role in a high-volume restaurant or country club
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to train and develop staff.
  • Expertise in cost control and inventory management to maintain profitability.
  • Ability to execute menu concepts.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask under pressure.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
  • Serv Safe compliant and current with all culinary regulations

Supplemental Pay: Bonus opportunities

Employment Type(s): Full-time

Base Pay: Salary is open and commensurate with qualifications and experience. The club offers an excellent benefit package. Salary Range: $85,000-$120,000
