A full-time position is being offered for a talented experienced pastry chef to join the worldwide R&D team of Malcolm Stogo Inc. For the past 45 years, Malcolm Stogo, Inc, an international ice cream consulting firm located in West Orange, New Jersey, is also the home of Ice Cream University Culinary Center, helping leading ice cream chains, such as the Haagen-Dazs Company, Stonyfield Farms, Carvel, Colombo, Sloan’s, Shrivers, JD’S Vegan, and Stogo in the USA. Malcolm Stogo has also had the opportunity to travel worldwide to Italy, China, Argentina, Korea, the Philippines, Thailand, Tunisia and Saudi Arabia to build ice cream production factories, create unusual native flavors, and help companies build unique ice cream brands through stores and chains. During the early years of the super premium ice cream boom (1978-1980), he created many of the most famous ice cream flavors such as Cookies & Cream, Coconut Almond Joy, Milky Way, Snickers Ice Cream, and in 1983 at the famous Ice Cream Extravaganza at NYC’s South Street Seaport, he invented Chocolate Dipped Waffle Cone. Malcolm Stogo is also the author of Incredible Ice Cream: Making it Your Way with Passion; HOW TO SUCCEED IN THE INCREDIBLE ICE CREAM BUSINESS; ICE CREAM and Frozen Desserts (frequently referred to as the “bible” of ice cream); FROZEN DESSERTS, A COMPLETE RETAILER'S GUIDE; and co-author of ICE CREAM CAKES.
