A project of the Florida State Elks Association, this beautiful, modern 405-acre complex provides a unique camping experience for 7 weeks during the summer to all children of Florida ages 9 through 13.
Though we are booked annually through June, July, and August for summer camp, we are here all year! The property is open to individual user groups for rental during the rest of the year. With comfortable accommodations at either the camper cabins or the elegant Smith Center there is an option for any size or style event! The camp has accommodated individual groups from as small as 10 to some over 1,000.
The Smith Center is a full-service meeting and event facility that provides a relaxing atmosphere with all the state-of-the-art amenities, including on-site accommodations and in-house catering.
With two full service commercial kitchens on property food services cover all styles including family style camp fare, buffet service, and plated fine dining.
Each of the camp’s 52 modern camper cabins has heat, A/C, a full bathroom and sleeps up to 9. The Smith Center has 32 hotel style rooms and 15 private executive cabins, each with luxury accommodations. During their stay, guests can participate in a range of activities including archery, swimming, canoeing, arts & crafts, capture the flag, soccer, and of course, climbing at our challenge ropes course!
Within 30 minutes to several smaller cities - and an hour from Orlando, Daytona, and Ocala- we are a hidden gem with the perfect peaceful commute.
