Diamond Bakery is a 76 year old bakery specializing in old school Eastern European baked goods most commonly found in Jewish Style bakeries in the US. Diamond Bakery is best known for its breads, especially the Rye bread. We have a great selection of traditional Jewish style cookies and pastries too.

Doug Weinstein, the current owner, is a classically trained pastry chef. Doug started his training at the Century Plaza Hotel while attending L.A. Trade Tech Chef Training from 1981 to 1983 and worked his way around Los Angeles hotels such as Checkers, Regent Beverly Wilshire and ending his career at the Broadway Deli in Santa Monica.

Diamond Bakery is a tradition for thousands of families in Los Angeles and around the country. Our products have been the centerpiece of holiday celebrations for over 75 years. Our mission is to keep the traditions of Jewish style baking alive for future generations.

There is a distinct opportunity for creative, reliable and skilled bread bakers and pastry cooks to make a name for themselves in the culinary marketplace in Los Angeles. We are working towards a new pastry and cake program to bring our traditional items into the current culinary times.
