Full Job Description
Cooks & Back of House Responsibilities:

Contribute to daily operations of kitchen for full-service restaurant and event venue, with potential responsibility in all aspects including hot and cold food preparation, grill, fry, cold stations, and plating
Assist in inventory management
Uphold strict sanitation and cleanliness standards, maintain temperature logs and always ensure quality product
Adhere to kitchen procedures including stocking, thawing, setup, cleaning, breakdown, and overall upkeep of equipment
Knowledge of allergens and special dietary restrictions
Demonstrates proper use and cleaning of equipment and supplies and performs daily and weekly cleaning assignments
Help maintain organization of coolers, freezers, storage areas, and storerooms and promptly report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management
Minimize waste and over production, handle leftovers according to procedures and assure that all items are labeled, dated, and properly stored
Cooks & Back of House Qualifications

Ability to follow direction in a fast paced environment
Ability to work self-directed and operate multiple stations at once to execute meal services with efficiency and quality
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and carry up to 30 feet
Efficient oral and written communication
ServSafe/Allergen Certification, First Aid and Anti-Choke Certification preferred
Compensation & Schedule

Available Shifts Day & Night. Compensation based on experience.

High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:

Cooking: 1 year (Preferred)
Restaurant Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
