Coastal Gourmet Inc. has been locally owned and operated for over 28 years. An innovative multi-concept food service business, with strong community involvement, offering our guests consistent high-quality products and exceptional service, at competitive prices.
We believe that we can achieve our financial goals through managing our restaurants, catering, retail markets and contract operations with carefully selected, qualified and trained personnel. Continued education and personal development of our staff and managers skills along with maintaining operational systems are critical to our long-term success.
We believe that it is imperative to treat each person, whether guest, team member or vendor, with honesty, courtesy and above all respect.

The History of Coastal Gourmet
The Coastal Gourmet Group, was established in 1993 with the opening of Mystic Market West .The first gourmet market of its kind to offer an array of specialty products, freshly prepared foods.

In 2001 a second, larger location Mystic Market East /now Mystic Market Kitchen & Eatery was established.

In 2002 Coastal Gourmet Catering was established and has since built a solid reputation for creative presentation, culinary excellence and above all, quality customer service throughout New England

In 2007, Aspen Restaurant & Bar. Awarded ‘Best New Restaurant‘ in 2009, Aspen offers contemporary American cuisine created from sustainable methods and the highest-quality ingredients often sourced through the Farm to Chef Program.

In 2010, Coastal Gourmet Inc. entered into an exclusive partnership with Mystic Seaport Museum to operate The Galley Restaurant, Spouters Tavern, Latitude 41 Restaurant & Shipyard Tavern, and all on-site food and beverage events.

In 2015, Mystic Market Kitchen & Eatery in Old Saybrook was established.
In 2019 , Mystic Market Kitchen & Eatery in Westport was established.
In 2021 , Mystic Market Kitchen & Eatery in Foxwoods Casino was established.
