Full time Head Chef 45-55- hours per week on the average. We are a family run business started in 1973. We are looking for the following skills...creativity, fresh energy, menu design and implementation, menu costing, management skills, staffing, purchasing and ordering. Certain menu items are mainstays on the menu, ie Caesar Salad for Two, Filet au Poivre and Roast Half Ducking each prepared tableside. All stocks and sauces are made from scratch. From May-October we are a high volume restaurant, and many times fast paced. We do off premise catering and have a strong private party clientele. We have a Sous Chef, Baker and 2 Garde Manger. Wine is also an integral part of our business.
Since 1992 our wine list has been awarded the Best of Excellence Award from Wine Spectator. Customers welcome creative and well prepared food to make their dining experience more enjoyable. During Covid, we are open 3:00-8:30 Mon, Wed-Fri and Sat /Sun we are open Noon - 8:30 relying on dine in and take out service. Hours are subject to change in the future.
