Located in the heart of Chinatown, Los Angeles, The Little Jewel of New Orleans is dedicated to giving the people of Southern California and beyond a true taste of The Crescent City. Established in 2014, this restaurant/deli/specialty grocer specializes in cooking up classic as well as more contemporary New Orleans cuisine, producing in-house specialty deli meats such as andouille and boudin sausages, and selling regional grocery items from their market. From a menu consisting of over 30 different po’boys to their celebrated Crawfish Mac n Cheese and Gulf Coast Style Alligator Chili, both of which were featured on Food Network’s iconic cooking show Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives, The Little Jewel strives to spread the celebrated food culture of Chef and co-proprietor, Marcus’s hometown to those outside The Big Easy.
