About us

Riziki Cafe is a Christian-based business located in Indiana, PA. We pride ourselves on being professional, customer-centric, and rewarding. Our mission is to "Percolate Hope Through Coffee." We specialize in serving high-quality coffee alongside delicious food and homemade baked goods, all while supporting various missions. Additionally, we offer catering services for events. A portion of our proceeds and 100% of our tips are donated to local, national, and international charities.

We are searching for an engaging, courteous cook who is passionate about food and beverage preparation, catering, and growing Riziki Cafe. The cook must be skilled in moving around the kitchen and adept at multitasking. Experience in using various ingredients and cooking techniques is also important. Will be responsible for setting up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment. Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (slicing, dicing, chopping, etc.). Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen and ensure all food and other items are stored properly. Check the quality of ingredients, monitor stock, and place orders with various vendors. Follow all sanitation regulations.

To succeed as a cook, you should provide excellent service to customers. You should be positive, friendly, knowledgeable, and polite. Must have reliable transportation and be dependable when scheduled.

Cook and Catering

• Creating specials or new items, answering questions, and accepting orders and payments.
• Preparing foods, such as sandwiches, homemade soups, dressings, or baked goods, and serving items to customers.
• Packaging food and beverages for sale.
• Cleaning and restocking work and dining areas, emptying trash, and sanitizing equipment and utensils.
• Washing all dishes and utensils.
• Learning about food preparation and presentation techniques to improve food quality.
• Updating signage and displays to attract customers.
• Taking inventory and replenishing items in display cases, at tables, or behind the counter.
• Monitor stock and place weekly orders with various vendors.
• Working as part of a fun, high-energy team.
• Adhering to all food safety regulations and quality controls.
• Coordinating and preparing catering events. The catering business is growing.

Cook and Catering

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in cooking required.
• Training and willingness to continue learning about food and beverage preparation.
• Exceptional listening and communication skills.
• Ability to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods.
• Availability to work full-time, including Saturdays.
• A polite, engaging personality.
• Commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence.
• Willingness to work as part of a high-energy, efficient team in a fast-paced environment.
