Cake Finisher

Kenny & Ziggy's Cakeworks in Houston, TX is seeking a talented Cake Finisher to join our team. If you have a passion for creating beautiful and delicious cakes, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

As a Cake Finisher at Kenny & Ziggy's Cakeworks, you will be responsible for using your skills in cake decorating and dessert finishing to create stunning cakes for our customers. You will adhere to our well established icing recipes and cake designs to ensure that our cakes not only look amazing but taste incredible as well.  Fondant work is a plus, not required.

In addition to cake finishing, you will have the opportunity to work on another culinary tasks of pastry making, and dessert making. For example, we bake and decorate our own chocolate eclairs from scratch. Attention to detail will shine as you work on various layered cakes, pies, and other desserts to expedite customer orders. 

The ideal candidate will have experience with frosings, piping, and chocolate work. Experience is a must. If you have a passion for creating beautiful and delicious desserts, we want to hear from you!

This is a full-time, in-person position at our Houston location. We offer health insurance and vacation leave as part of our benefits package. The salary for this position ranges from $26,000 to $34,000 annually, depending on experience.  Must have a food handler permit for the state of Texas. Bilingual candidates will have a greater advantage, but not required.
