About Us:
We're a dynamic and fast-paced restaurant seeking a skilled and creative Pastry Chef/Prep Cook to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a team player with a passion for delivering exceptional bread and desserts, and maintaining a positive, energetic attitude.

Job Summary:
We're looking for a skilled Pastry Chef/Prep Cook to take charge of our dessert menu, manage inventory, create and maintain a house-made sourdough program and other breads. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and presenting our desserts to our high standards, and contributing to a collaborative and creative kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:
•  Prepare and present all desserts, including restaurant style desserts, ice cream, and other sweet treats
•  Manage inventory of pastry supplies and ingredients, ordering and receiving stock as needed
•  Maintain our house-made sourdough and other breads, including mixing, proofing, and baking
•  Work efficiently and effectively during early morning shifts to prepare for service
•  Collaborate with Chef to develop new dessert ideas and menus
•  Maintain a clean and organized pastry station, adhering to our high standards of sanitation and safety
•  Contribute to a positive, energetic kitchen environment, with a focus on teamwork and creativity

Requirements:
•  1+ year of experience as a pastry cook or prep cook in a high-volume restaurant
•  Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and presentation
•  Excellent communication and teamwork skills
•  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease
•  Physical stamina to withstand long hours, heat, and pressure
•  Availability to work early morning shifts, including weekends and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:
•  Culinary degree or equivalent experience
•  Experience with sourdough bread production
•  Familiarity with pastry management software
•  Certification in food safety and sanitation
