Able to: Perform all essential duties of the position under only general guidance; Understand & follow District Food Service policies, procedures, rules & regulations; Operate commercial kitchen equipment; Read & understand written directions & recipes; calculate weights & measures; Work within tight deadlines in the preparation & serving of food; Learn, understand & apply safety & sanitation regulations; Train & supervise assistants & students; Work with students & all levels of school personnel in a courteous & professional manner.
